I’m not usually one to run out and buy the latest, must have gadget but ever since TREK announced the District, I haven’t been able to stop salivating over this bike. It’s TREK’s first production belt-drive singlespeed. That’s right, no chain. TREK’s website claims that the worry-free, lube-rejecting, lighter-than-any-chain-you’ve-ever-owned belt produces a ninja-like quiet ride. Sounds amazing to me. The gray and orange color scheme looks really sharp too. I want to get my hands on one of these and take it for a ride. Detail photos after the jump. (more…)
